Howdy Michelle,
I am unable to progress past pace 1 of your 11 steps. Since I am not sure how to send you screenshots of the following 5 steps I am experiencing, delight read the descriptions of those 5 steps below:
1. Start Outlook App (for me this means clicking on the Outlook.com icon from my smartphone)
2. Blazon in my email address, my password, and tap on the "Sign In" button
three. Arrive at a screen asking if it is ok to "Let this app admission your info?" (a screenshot would exist helpful for you I am certain of it) and I tap on the "Yes" button...in that location is much more text on this screen than merely the "Let this app access your info?" question listed in a higher place
4. A "Validating Account..." screen appears
5. A screen with the post-obit iii items on information technology appears
5a) "Authentication failed"
5b) "Authentication was non successful."
5c) A "Attempt again" button that I tap on to bring me back to my stride 2 listed above

I am having exactly the aforementioned problem. I am getting the "Authentication Failed" error message, at commencement I thought I typed the incorrect password (or username), so I tried once more and again without avail, merely the "Authentication Failed."

The step 1 in gathering logs for the issue is merely simply opening the app like what you did in the step one of the five steps you have provided. Afterwards follow the following steps. If yous are even so unsuccessful, please try once more a few times and attempt to get the logs. If fine trace does not work, you can cull the trace instead.

But that assumes that you are logged in and tin can encounter your messages. But the whole problem is that it will not let us log in. When nosotros try, it says that it cannot authenticate us and bounces back out to the log in screen.

Hi guys,
I am having the same problem also. It appears that this is widespread and causing millions of people great inconvenience. How most fixing the problem or reverting dorsum to the system that clearly worked?
To add insult to injury, all my telephone contacts were stored in my hotmail app. At present that I've been forced to upgrade, I don't even have whatever contacts on my phone.
Please inform me as soon as you have a solution. I've never been a fan of microsoft, and this situation is not helping...
